Liz Ibbotson
I joined the club in 2018 after taking
part in some group coaching sessions. After playing socially for a couple of
years, I grew more confident and started playing competitively, which I really
enjoy.

I love the social aspect of tennis and I think the encouragement of friends, coaches, staff and other club members is really important to help people feel involved and included. I'm looking forward to working with the board to develop new ways to bring people into the club and help them to enjoy playing racquet sports at any level they want to, as well as benefitting from the social side of sport.
Hope to see you soon, the AGM and the tournament were such good fun and everyone said how much they enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to getting more involved now I'm on the board!
