The Cafe and Bar are open to both club members and the general public, with ample seating both inside and outside, the cafe has an industrial charm and is very much the heart of the Club.
Muddy lane Cafe
Muddy Lane Café, which is run in-house, has become a popular stop for local dog walkers and cyclists passing through Letchworth. It's also a regular meeting place for many weekly social groups organized by the LALG (Letchworth Arts and Leisure Groups).
We offer a selection of hot drinks, delicious homemade cakes baked on site by our café team, snacks, toast, toasties, granola bowls, ice creams, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
Our team has recently transformed the space into a calm and welcoming environment for both members and guests. Surrounded by donated plants, historic club photos, and retro tennis rackets on the walls, it's the perfect place to relax. With soft background music and cozy seating, we invite you to experience what Muddy Lane Café has to offer.
There are two wall-mounted TVs showing sports throughout the year, as well as a selection of board games, Duplo, and books available for everyone to enjoy.
We love seeing our regulars throughout the week as they gather in the clubroom—and always enjoy welcoming new visitors from the local community. Come and enjoy the space, and we dare you to try one of our cakes!
